Aspire Class

Take the leap from skater to figure skater. Passed Basic 6? You’re eligible to join our Aspire Membership with Boise Figure Skating Club! We’ll teach you everything you need to know about competing, testing, and everything in between!

What is Aspire?

The Aspire program is strategically positioned as the perfect bridge between Learn to Skate and freestyle Figure Skating. Aspire classes take the foundational skills learned in the Learn to Skate program and expand upon them, equipping skaters for freestyle ice, where they can take part in private lessons to further enhance their skills and passion for figure skating. With a focus on refining techniques and honing abilities, our Aspire program ensures a smooth and confident transition for skaters aiming to excel in the world of figure skating.

We offer weekly classes for Pre-Freeskate through Freeskate 6 skaters to continue developing their skills. Our regular season follows the City of Boise Learn to Skate programming from (September - June) on Tuesday evenings. Registration and payment for clinics are through the links below.

Program Format

5:45 - 6:45 pm On Ice

Skaters will start with a dynamic whole group warmup (10 mins), move into small group classes designed for the level that they are currently working towards (40 mins), and finish with power and edge work (10 mins) that are critical to every aspiring figure skater.

7:00 - 7:30 pm Off Ice

This is a 30 minute additional skill work and strengthening. This portion rotates between high and low level skaters every other week to aid in focused learning for skaters.

*** During the Fall this class will also focus on their Jingle Blades routine for those who have chosen to participate in the annual show.

Cost includes Jingle Blades Costume: $188 Girls and $159 Boys

Priority Registration Deadline: 8/20 - You must have both steps completed.

Then proceed to payment:
- Log into your EntryEeze membership page
- Click "Contract Ice"
- Select "Aspire-Oct/Dec 2024"

Requirements: You must be a member of the Boise Figure Skating Club in order to participate in these club-sponsored Aspire classes. Please register at Entryeeze.com, and select the "Apply for Membership" tab to join our club. You will select Aspire membership unless directed differently by your private coach.

Registration will not be complete until both the BFSC Membership and Payment have been received!

This session is only open to Jingle Blade Participants. We will resume regular programming in January.
